UNIT 01 — Part A: Machine Tools Lab
Introduction to general purpose machines - lathe, drilling machine, milling machine, shaper, planing machine, slotting machine, cylindrical grinder, surface grinder, tool and cutter grinder · Operations on lathe machines - step turning, knurling, taper turning, thread cutting and drilling · Operations on drilling machine - drilling, reaming, tapping, rectangular drilling and circumferential drilling · Operations on shaping machine - round to square, round to hexagonal · Operations on slotter - keyway (T-slot), keyway cutting · Operations on milling machines - indexing, gear manufacturing
UNIT 02 — Part B: Metrology Lab
